TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it lands.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The speed is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, website withdrawals, pricing, click here and more info the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
